Seems to be a solid piece.

I have received the ring I ordered. It was well packaged and is heavier than I anticipated. Seems to be a solid piece. However it is a father's day gift so it has not been given to the designated person for the true test of wear and functionality. But as for what I know as if now. The ring itself gets a strong rating from me. I will say 8/10. It is a bit rough on the inside edges and seems bulky but it's a large ring. So your trading that off with this one. Still love the ring.
