Name: Colleen
Kinniburgh
Title: Founding
Rep/Team Leader/Best Mom Ever
Where do you live: Taber, AB
Joined OST: August 2016
Why did you join OST: Because I could see the potential in
the company and watched the formation of the company back in January of
2016. I knew that Zelda Gayle and
Patrick were dedicated to creating a company that was “Rep Friendly”.
Family: I am a proud mom of 6 grown children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild now!
Pets: Nope- not any in my house!!
Favorite product: Eternal Rainbow Ring – the colors are
different on every one of them and they catch the attention of many customers,
plus who doesn’t love to fidget and spin a ring?
Job: I have three jobs: Office Administrator at an
oilfield company. Piano teacher. OST
Rep.
How long at your job: Office Administrator has been 10 years now. Piano teacher has been for 47 years now. OST Rep for almost a full year.
Hobbies (What do you do in your spare
time): What spare
time? I do like to play the piano,
listen to music, sometimes I get the urge to do crafts, scrapbooking. And reading!!
Funniest/most memorable OST moment:
The day I joined – Zelda Gayle was sitting at my table on her computer
and working on her computer, while I sat beside her on my phone and went to the
website and joined up without saying a word to her. Such a funny reaction when she got her
notification that a new rep had signed up!! And also did my order to become
Founding Rep right then so the fastest Founding Rep to date!!
What drives your passion for OST: I want to support Zelda Gayle and
Patrick in their endeavors. I also quite
like the jewelry and love going to the markets and trade shows and chatting
with people.
Favorite Quote (Jewelry related?): #Shiny
Favorite Color: Blue
Goal for this year:
Achieve the Shiny a Day every month.
What’s a typical day like for you: Up at 6 a.m., go to the office at 7
a.m., work until 3 p.m., back home to teach piano lessons until 7 to 7:30 p.m.,
often meetings in the evening to attend (I am involved in my church on
different committees), sometimes evening tea at my neighbor’s home, then early
to bed most nights! Try to be in bed by
9:30 p.m.
What are your best skills that you
bring to your OST job? I am comfortable talking to people and I know how to handle comments
that are negative. I am comfortable with
technology so computers don’t faze me. I
don’t “sweat the small stuff” because I have learned over the years that many
of the things that irritate us are really not an essential part in the grand
scheme of our lives. One of life’s biggest lessons I have learned is that if
you don’t work for it, you won’t earn it!!
But above all, spending time with family is precious, so I have also
learned that sometimes you have to back off from working and chill with the
family!
What would be your personal
motto?
“If you can't be a good example, then you'll
just have to be a horrible warning.” Catherine
Aird I have just always enjoyed this
one but my true personal motto is: ‘We
ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that
missing drop.” St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)
